Tree-based Task Management Application with Time-Blocking views (Divy-Do)
Most planning tools are often designed around checklists and broad calendar events rarely extending beyond the planning stages of a project. Instead. This application aims to look at tasks as tools to use while planning and working. Building upon a hierarchical tree structure for tasks and incorporating that into the planning and execution stages of a project was the key focus. Using a tree to plan a project is ideal when starting from ideas and working out how to make those into features. Starting with ideas or concepts at the first layer of the tree, users can get more technical with each layer of subtasks, with leaf nodes ultimately being foundational pieces of those ideas. The second element of this application is the two pages focused on using tasks to plan. With these pages users can create scheduled work at specific times or have a live tracker for their current task. Combining these elements creates a system that is both an effective and efficient productivity tool.
