Abstract: We propose a framework for integrating realtime three-dimensional volumetric flu- ids into realtime game environments. We implement GPU-based solutions for the incompressible Navier Stokes equations to model fluid dynamics, as well as incorpo- rating interactions with standard triangle geometry meshes. To increase simulation domains to encompass entire scenes, we also describe a computationally sparse grid refinement hierarchy that allows highly dynamic per-frame tracking of fluid boundary for refinement.
